Does your state offer free necropsy? That's the only way to know for sure the cause of death. In California you ship the body with ice packs to a lab and in a few days you know if what they died of is something that can affect the rest of your flock.

I agree, if anyone has success importing to the US, I'd be interested in hatching a few out to preserve the breed. Hopefully enough folks will revive the thread!

Haha! Little newborns are so cool. Mine are now running happily around the brooder. I have a tiny polish chick 4 wks old that was the runt and she's about their size. I put her in with them and they started pecking her and pulling at her feathers. Bad kids! Lol. I took her out, poor thing.

The EE does have a few scattered red spots... Don't show up in pic as much as in person. Oh no, if two Roos will have to get more day old adorable pullets ;)
