How often do you feed fermented feed?

Is it a trial and error to see how much they eat. I have 15 chickens and don't want to under feed them. They get scratch and other treats/scraps we have that day.

How often do you feed fermented feed?

Ok i have decided to give fermenting feed a try, and I found a couple good articles on how to make it. My question is the transition from access to layer pellets 24/7 to fermented feed. My understanding is that you don't leave the fermented feed out, so is it like feeding my dogs once at...

    Frizzle thread

[/URL] Went today to get a Dixie Rainbow hen and a Turken/Silky cross and left with those and 4 frizzles to add to my flock! I am in love with the way the frizzles look :-) So I now have Hershey, Peanut, Mocha and Oreo (I had a little bit of a junk food craving today lol):D

LoL I have 14 in the coup. I guess 4 roosters. I am just in denial with the grey one, so quite and calm. I have heard some attempts but none from that one. All my EE are roos, my kids wanted colored eggs! Might have to get some more and try again. Wish i could find someone local to pick up...

If the little brown one isn't a roo than she is going to be one dominant hen. Always running around with the cheek feathers puffed out. My grey one is the exact opposite, layer back on rarely puffs her/his feathers.

Any help would be appreciated! I was thinking the grey one Spaz was a puller and the brown one might actually be a boy. Not the best pictures they are about 3-4 months old here.

I think I will be heading to our monthly local animal swap! 1 or 2 I can handle but 5 is to much. I just wish my son wasn't so attached to the silkier because he is the least friendliest, to skiddish!

    What do you think?

These are all about 3-4 months old. I only thought I had 2 cockerels in the bunch (the Silkie mix and a red one) I will be so sad if 3 of the others are cockerels to, that is to many for not enough hens. Rosetta is a personal favorite of mine and if she is a he it will make the name kina...
