Frizzle thread

Hatched this out of some shipped eggs.
Fermented feed in the brooder is not good for pictures! Can't wait til he's big enough to go outside, I worry with it having non-regular feathers?

Okay I have a question.. or two:)
First off, I got a frizzle chick from a lady down the street from me (she originally got her from IFA), but her feathers haven't curled..  and it's been about 2 1/2 months since I got her. is this normal for some frizzles?
Next, if breed her ,will her chicks come out curly feathered even if she is not? cause she would still hold that gene?

I would appreciate all input! Thank you in advance :)

this means she is not a fizzle and will not produce frizzled offspring unless paired with a frizzle mate.

Went today to get a Dixie Rainbow hen and a Turken/Silky cross and left with those and 4 frizzles to add to my flock! I am in love with the way the frizzles look :)
So I now have Hershey, Peanut, Mocha and Oreo (I had a little bit of a junk food craving today lol):D

confirmed this morning: our beautiful frizzle is a he, and we won't be able to keep him

i can send him to the farm where i sent the rest of the hatch and be done with him, or i might possibly be able to send him to a friend for at least a little

while and try for some hatching eggs. and do the whole incubation process again.

if i try to hatch his offspring, are the chances of getting some of his features any good? he came from a blue egg, is frizzled and has green feathered legs .

i know he's just a mutt but my children love him, i'm trying to figure out my plan of attack before they wake up :/
