I wrap mine with clear package tape all the way around the crack were the top and bottom meet. To keep my humidity in and do not open it till the hatch is completely finished. I think the tape helps me not open the bator

I am going with white.. When the wing feathers come in you can tell a bit more. I hatched some from a breeder and thought they were buff for sure even against my buff chicks they looked buff but they started to feather in white. Go figure..

OK I may be a lil late but I got all of my silkies to hatch thanks justhatchin and 3 ducks one is a brown runner but what or the others from the green eggs One is crested. I have to get some pics. I have never had ducks only geese. My DD loves the runner too cute!!
