    These are my McMurray Australorp pullets (18 weeks) bum-rushing me when I open their pen. :) That's KFC in the lead. I can tell them apart, but only if they hold still.

    How will you know which ones are which if you ordered them together? Are there significant differences in the lines? My little Nugget came from a local breeder who has been established for some time, so I'm guessing that Nugget is GFF line.

    Yes. She's ornery and can fly like crazy but I love her. I love my Australorps, too. Nugget is a week younger than the other girls, but they were pretty welcoming aside from a couple of pecks. KFC (my favorite Aussie) is her best friend. Chicken politics, what can you do?

    Mine are about seven weeks old, and they lost all their white feathers. I can't tell them apart now unless I get really close. Mine are named Superclucker, KFC and PH ( Pollos Hermanos) They are very sweet birds.

    Pretty bird! I wanted an Ameraucana for the blue eggs, but I ended up with a Cream Legbar instead. She also flies well and has a bit of an attitude. Perhaps it comes with the blue-egg gene? :)
