Sweet duckling.. it does look like a dragon! I am happy it worked out! I do hear a lot of people help Call ducklings hatch... it's great that yours mostly did it themselves. I am still waiting on ducklings 2 & 3, wondering how long 1 can stay on the bator without smashing everything. I may...

How are the eggs doing? I had one early duckling hatch and waiting on two more, another one has internally pipped finally. I gonna give them to my broody duck. She is old so I don't want her to sit on eggs a full month.

Good luck! Crazy air cells are so deceptive, they always make me think the egg has lost too much moisure when they really haven't. It sounds like you are doing everything! Sending happy hatch vibes your way!

    Homemade incubator, Excalibur food dehydrator

I think it's brilliant! I have made several incubators, from styrofoam to cabinet and a couple oddities inbetween. I never thought of a dehydrator. Mine is kind of noisy, but I have heard of people using a hair dryer for heat in a cabinet. Humidity at 20 to 30% is pretty perfect. Surely you...

I bet you could layer that coop. The Orpingtons are tall and the Seramas are short, so I bet the Orpingtons wouldn't even notice them!

That little frizzle guy is adorable! I am trying to have some discipline and not create more Serama coops! It's tricky.
