I've just set 27 Swedish Flower Hen and 5 Olive Eggers in to my DIY tote bator.

Nice! Is your incubator a still air or circulated? Egg turner or hand turned? I love incubating eggs! :-D

Hey!

It's technically circulated air...I think it may need a larger fan though.

And I hand turn. The hardest part is waiting to candle. LOL

Ok I want to join! lol I have 17 shipped Bielefelder eggs due around the 3rd and 10 barnyard mix due on the 7th of aug.

I have duck eggs and Silkie eggs in the incubator for August! I plan to get some special eggs for my birthday this year too!

So for my first batch of shipped eggs I feel things are going ok..... the air cells are wonky, but that's to be expected. I made sure to buy from as close as I could but still the post office is hard on eggs.... I paid for 12 and the guy shipped 17, yeah, today is day 10 and I pulled 5, one with a small cracking that didn't start, one blood ring and 3 clears that seem to have just failed to start. So far the rest look like they have life in them yeah!

I have Sizzles (silkie hen and frizzle rooster) and quail eggs in the incubator estimated hatch date is August 2nd!!! So far I have 11 Sizzles and 16 quails that are developing beautifully.

I have 6 EE eggs arriving in the mail today. This is my first hatch as I have always bought pullets or hens. I am using a homemade incubator from a converted aquarium. Hopefully all goes well.
