NPIP Fertile Hatching Eggs -Colorful Mixed Breeds OR just Olive Eggers for $40 SHIPPED

Just an FYI for all considering, I recently purchased a dozen olive egger eggs. 14 well packaged eggs were shipped and arrived without issue. Three weeks later I've got 13 healthy happy little chicks. Couldn't be happier. Thanks again Simz.

    Eggs are getting cracked :-(

I had the same issue. I took out all the straw, put in an inch or two of clean sand, then put the straw back in. Have not had a cracked egg since.

What I think is odd: swaps are banned, but fairs are ok. Yet both have very similar if not the same testing requirements for the poultry to attend. Am I missing something? And one could argue that foot traffic at fairs is going to be substantially greater than a swap, increasing risks.

One of mine went broody and seemed pretty determined, so I gave her three barnyard mix eggs. Friday one hatched, if you look close you can see it. So far she's been a really good mom. Listening to the two talk to each other is very interesting.

    Australian Spotted Ducks

I believe you have the colors corect, but I also think you have two blues and a green. I got some in recently and the two that I assumed to be silver were much lighter. The attached is the best pic I have of them.

No problem. Sometimes it's easier to discuss things in person, get a look at at a similar set up, than to discuss online. We are out of town thursday-sunday, but your welcome anytime. robert

    Post your FIRST EGG pics!

I picked up two 12-week old D'uccles last July 4. Finally one of them decided to get on board. A little 31 gram beaut. Only thing cuter is the tidy little nest she built to lay it in. The little one in front.

    Post your FIRST EGG pics!

The little pinkish/purplish one on the bottom is from a new layer. For comparison, the darker one is from our gold star, and the lighter brown one is from our wyandotte. I'm almost 100% sure the new one is from what is supposed to be an F2 olive egger, odd. The shell is actually brown, with a...
