    Hens not laying

First time having chickens my hens are about 30 weeks old and only one of the three of them are laying. Does anyone know why I live in the Okanagan in BC Canada. About a week and a half ago my black copper Marain laid one egg and has yet to lay another one. Is this normal????

    Winter cold

I live in the okanogan in BC Canada and we get about 3 feet or so of snow. Do you need to put heat lamps in my chicken coop. It's not 100% sealed off. But I was told not to because you don't want your chickens to sweat in the winter. What would you suggest??
