    So, if this pekin was hatched under a muscovy, raised by a muscovy and grows up with muscovy ducklings....will he always stick with the muscovys or eventually join the Pekins?

    Here is a pic of the 12 muscovys she hatched on Sunday and the one pekin she hatched a week ago, we call the pekin Big Bird! He fusses over the new babies as much as his mom. I do wonder about the day that he asks "mommy, why do I look so different from everyone else?" : )

    Hope somebody can help. I have very broody Muscovies and not so broody Pekins, 28 or so days ago I put 2 Pekin eggs in my Muscovy nest. Yesterday she hatched one egg and is still sitting on14 other eggs. The new baby seems fine now but she's not leaving the nest, won't it need water or grain...
