Thanks, that was my thought originally, but I didn't want to clutter up the inside if I didn't need to. Ill have to modify the roost slightly but not a huge deal.
Edit: The lip to the second boxes is at about 34" off the floor.
I expanded my flock a little a few months ago, so I had to increase my nest boxes. I had 2 on this wall, and expanded it to 4. My question is, do you think I need a ramp for them to access the top 2, or will they be able to hop up there without knocking themselves silly on the roof ...
Thanks everybody, I appreciate it. They are all within a few weeks in age, 2 weeks ago we started getting eggs. I'm getting 1 or 2 a day now, cant wait to see the Welsummers eggs !

I got these two girls at about a month old under the impression they were a Rhode island and a New Hampshire. Now that they have colored out, I'm thinking both are BSL or some other mix. Any opinions ?
