    Spraddle

    I think my chick has spraddle leg. I'm trying to hobble it. However- the legs lay too far infront, instead of splayed to the side. It flutter kicks it's legs but can't seem to get them under itself. Even hobbled I set it laying down so it's on top of its feet like it should be-- and two seconds...

    Okay so now I have another question. I have what I think to be splay leg on a chick. However instead of going out to the side it's legs stick out too far infront and it just flails them up and down (like we would kick our legs to swim) and can't get them underneath. Do I Ned to hobble?

    I'm hatching 11 chickens in a homemade incubator. Today is day 20. I noticed one external pip today at 4pm. Three hours later nothing more it's the same size... Is this normal or cause for concern?!! I'm definitely a nervous "momma"... Day 21 seems to be taking FOREVER!!
