    Worms? General Worm Questions.

@Wyorp Rock and anyone else. I am taking a fecal in tomorrow to work, but in the meantime..this is what I"m seeing now, from both my adults and my juvenile birds. Their poop isn't formed anymore, it just looks like this splatter sort of poop in the poop boards overnight. I use PDZ and always...

    Worms? General Worm Questions.

I can. I don’t know why I didn’t think about that. Do it for my sheep and horses but it never crossed my mind for the chickens lol I’m keeping an eye out for another pile that looks strange and I’ll test it. Thanks for your help :)

    Worms? General Worm Questions.

I will try and get pictures when and if it happens again. It seems to be the older birds. The younger chooks have been out there with them for about 6 weeks now. Maybe a bit longer. Hard to tell because I’m not sure where everyone sleeps now that they are all out there :)

    Worms? General Worm Questions.

So i have a flock of 20 or so chickens. half of them are 3 years old. Other half are 5 months. One rooster. I noticed a long white worm in one of my chickens poop last summer, and made a mental note to keep an eye on that, never saw anything again. Everything was fine. I've been noticing...

    Rabbit basics. Help please :)

No I appreciate it. I am trying to do my research but it seems most people keep them in hutches and I’m having trouble finding out how to keep them in a space that big that’s not outside/grass. I don’t want to do it wrong lol I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my animals. The biggest hang up...

    Rabbit basics. Help please :)

Just pets. Not planning to breed. Adopting from the shelter so they are fixed. There is one single or a “bonded pair” that I’m deciding between. It’s concrete underneath. Y’all I’m just asking for opinions on footing in that large of an area, and whether they NEED any other things in there. I...

    Rabbit basics. Help please :)

I am wanting to get a rabbit or two. I have a 10x12 horse stall I want to set up for them. So...what all should I get? What kind of essentials do I need. Litter box. Water. Food. Anything else in there? Also what kind of footing. It’s sand right now as we used it for a chick brooder. Straw...

    Where to house my Silkies

Hello! Just need some advice. I current have a large chicken coop (17x10) and attached run for all of my chickens (various layer breeds). I just added 7 young silkies to the mix, but I would like to keep them separate (my rooster is HUGE and my hens are...less than friendly to smaller chickens...

Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

They seemed very happy! I have no idea what they are..that post is coming in the future. I got a “rainbow pullet pack” that is a mix of bird colors as well as egg colors. I know what a couple are but most of them I’m not sure. They are 4 weeks old tomorrow!! I don’t tend to name them. I have 10...

Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

YEah the stall is where I brood chicks in the summer. 4 solid wood walls, hardware cloth across the top and window/door. They are 4 weeks old. Almost fully feathered, but not quite. Currently, they are in the basement, but it's not a finished basement and it gets down to 40-50 depending on how...
