    Thanks! I've enjoyed our birds. They're not really tame, since we were kinda busy during their young years and didn't really handle them a ton, but they are cute. They follow me all over the place, and Mr. Roo is not aggressive at all, he just wants to know if I have a treat for him. :)

    Maybe I'm over thinking this. My girls will be six months old in August, so we are officially on egg watch. They are free-range, but they go back and roost in their coop every night. There is a ledge there, where we have put straw for them to lay eggs. I'm wondering about two things. 1)...

    Hello from Southeastern Washington!

    Hi everyone! We moved to a 2.5-acre farm this past winter, and dived right in to having livestock! We have a lovely little group of Buff Orpington ladies and one rooster. They should start laying any day now! It's been a lot of fun to watch them grow. -Nicole
