    Anything I can do for him that you know of? He's not even a year old yet. His tail is now droopy so he's definitely not feeling well. Trying to get to the bottom of this before I make decision to cull him. I'd like to give him a chance first though.

    Hey guys, I noticed two days ago that my roosters comb was darker than normal but everything else still seemed fine with him. Then yesterday it was even darker still and he wasn't his normal aggressive self. He hasn't crowed since yesterday morning. I'm keeping a close eye and he's still eating...

    Thank you everyone, I appreciate it! I will keep them separated. It certainly makes the cleaning easier since I can just spot clean the chicks side daily and only do a complete change twice a week instead of everyday. Man ducklings are gross! I vowed to never get any again lol yet here I am...

    Hey everyone, just wanted to grab some opinions on this topic if I could. I'm raising chicks and ducklings at the same time and due to an error with my eggs hatching I ended up with just one baby duck so she stayed with the chicks, all on non-medicated food, until I could go buy another...

    One of two companion ducks was killed. The other duck is stressed and quacking a lot for the other.

    The male ducks have drake feathers, on the tail you'll see several feathers that curl up toward the back.

    I saw that 8 months is too old, how about 16 weeks? My female has it on both wings and my male just seems to be on one.
