I received 18 shipped eggs 16 weeks ago from Louisiana, and 4 hatched. The tiniest died at 4 days old, but these 3 are thriving. And how lucky am I to have a trio??

Yeah, you wouldn't want to take that road trip this time of the year anyway. ;) We were at Fort Myers Beach last week, and the temp went from 84 to 18 during the 3 hr flight. lol. And the 18 was a heat wave - it had been below zero. I rehomed him yesterday! A lady came to look at some chicks...

They really are stunning! I love this color, regardless of the fact that it's not approved. I've heard it called chinchilla, and I think that's the perfect description. :)
