  3. It was a fun day last Saturday. Went to see my daughter perform at a show choir competition and picked up these little beauties. Originally I was only supposed to pick up 10, then she had five more so we are up to 15. Then she told me she hatched two Buckeyes and so I could not resist that. So I have 15 Easter Eggers and 2 Buckeyes. What fun this will be.

    It was a fun day last Saturday. Went to see my daughter perform at a show choir competition and picked up these little beauties. Originally I was only supposed to pick up 10, then she had five more so we are up to 15. Then she told me she hatched two Buckeyes and so I could not resist that. So I have 15 Easter Eggers and 2 Buckeyes. What fun this will be.

    You are not being negative you have the experience. I do appreciate the advice as I would e mistake of leaving them together. I have separate pen that she can have the run of and if babies come, they would be safe.

    Hi everyone, I am a new member to the BYC and besides chickens, I have bought three turkeys. I have some pictures and as far as I can tell, and not sure what breed they are.     here are my original seven. They are always up for a photo op. They are called Red producers and live up to their name. Very cold hearty girls and if they feel like it, pretty social.
