Integrating 4 new Hens---How long before you think they'll be accepted

We had a hard time getting the 4 new hens introduced to an established flock of 13 hens & 1 Roo, so we have them separated in their coop by a fence. How long does it take for the other hens to accept them into their flock? And in regards to the established flock.... is it normal to have one hen...

Update- What is going on with my hens???? Please help

The girls seem to be getting back to normal. They are eating & drinking normally. They are no longer standing around falling asleep. And my one girl, whom last night kept one eye closed, and one eye open, is back to her bossy self. I found the poo chart and the one girl that I thought had blood...

Update- What is going on with my hens???? Please help

I noticed one out of the 4 hens has bloody poop. Last night I started them on Vitamins & Electrolytes. They are acting normal though today, but this has me very concerned. I've been reading about symptoms, and am hoping they aren't coming down with Coccidiosis. What type of meds do y'all...

I posted below earlier....and have been keeping an eye on all my younger hens, and noticed they all are not as active as normal, and seem to be extremely sleepy. They are all eating, drinking, cones are normal, etc. but their inactive behavior has me concerned. I noticed one of the girls is...

Emergency--What's wrong with my 15 week old hen?

Chubby Cheeks my EE is normally very active and vocal. I just checked on her, she's laying around and sleeping. When she stands up, she immediately closes her eyes and goes to sleep. Cone is it's normal color, crop looks fine, and so does her poop. Earlier this morning she was fine, eating and...

What's the best way to introduce news Hens in with established ones?

Our Hens are so backwards right now, on going in to the coop at night. We have to make them go in, and we'll go back and check on them a short time later and they're right back out in their yard. That's another problem we are dealing with right now, lol.

What's the best way to introduce news Hens in with established ones?

I have 3 EE's and 1 Cornish Hen almost 13 weeks old, and around a month ago, we tried to introduce them in with the already established Hens, and it was a disaster. The Older Hens literally tried to beat the heck out of them, while Red the Rooster played the protector and tried to keep the...

2 Week pic update on what turned out to be 3 EE's & 2 other unknowns

These 4 pullets and the Roo will be 6 weeks old in a few days. Do y'all still think the darker 2 are a Partridge Rock and possible Dark Cornish Cross? Also...was wondering since I have 5 RIR Roos, and 13 Pullets age's ranging from 12 to 14 weeks....how long should I wait to put these younger...

A couple of questions about my RIR Roo's

Should I think about separating the 5 Roo's with them being 10 & 12 weeks old? They were raised together but should I be concerned right now about them going after each other? I'm concerned about what's going to happen when the first one crows. Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated...

Here's the Pics of my RIR'S. How many Roo's do I have here?

Should I start to worry about the 5 of them going after each other at this time? They were all raised together, but I definitely don't want them hurting each other. What do y'all think? Should I separate them? Before one of them crows?
