I appreciate the info. That site doesn't list the rarer colors of hookbill. I don't know what the differences between the colorations of snowy and aleutian.

So I have three hookbills and I can identify the colors on two of them one is dusky and the other is dusky-bibbed. I am curious as to the coloration of the 3rd one. So far I have come across three different names for it: Snowy, Harlequin-phased, and Aleutian. I just want to know for show...

Chick season is just starting and fingers crossed the only chicks I pick up are my own. But I am not gonna lie I am already talking to some people about some hens and a few friends for this guy here. He has been staying inside where I can monitor him and so he doesn't get lonely by himself.

I have been letting him soak in warm water with a small portion of ACV. I haven't been able to concoct a way to soak him in epson salt without him drinking the water. I haven't messed with the scabs but his feet are not hot or swollen in any way. Do I still need to remove them?

Oh, dear did the hatch still go poorly?

Oh, the hatchery I get my chicks from does have a small order amount but I really just need to replace the roo at this point not order more than two chicks hence why I am looking for something local.

If you still have too many when they hatch let me know, or are they hatched I am slightly confused.
