You need to wait until they are all done hatching. Remember they hatch and ship chciks with minimal losses. They can wait awhile to be out of the incubator
I am aware of the registration fee and the microchip also. They were just showing the other night on National geo. that they have migrated to the keys aswell/ They are crossing the bridges made for cars. They showed how when the snakes come to an obstacle they just crawl along it and end up...
Ducks are invasive huh? Wow!
What about the snakes in the Florida keys. They are destroying the entire ecosystem. But they are still allowing the sale, importation and breeding of them. What's wrong with that?
Bobcats and domestic cats cannot cross breed. There have a different number of chromosomes. I've seen lots of pics of some that look like they are but they are not.
Bobcats are one of the easiest animals to live trap too. Just wire a dead chicken in the back of your cage and put lots of...
Definately a rooster He looks like he is crossed witha silver lakenvelder. I've never seen an Auracana with a single comb and those markings.
He's an easter egger.
I'm not sure about the first one.
The second one looks like a cross to a silver sebright. I say cross because he isn't hen feathered and not very well laced.
If you're only allowed hens it will be hard to beat blue laced red wyandottes hens. Speckled sussex are great too and very friendly.
I have both and they are constantly under foot. The sussex are a little friendlier hough.
They are raccoon tracks. I've lost more chickens to coons than all the other predators combined. We have everything from skunks to weasels and bobcats. They are very determined predators and will keep trying to find a way in. I'd at the very least relocate him a long ways away, like at the...
I have several pairs of Blue and Black Copper Marans for sale in Western Colorado. I am not offering shipping for these birds. They were hatched at the end of December and are doing great. I can also put together a trio. I have one splash cockerel too.
I can probably get you some pics if you...
Try Duke traps website. They used to sell live traps that were $49 each and if you buy two the shipping is only $12. At least they were last year. They are better stronger traps than the havaharts.
I use the straw just because it composts more quickly. It's more work because I have to clean more often, but the wood shavings take along time to break down. Just a personal choice. Our climate here is much drier too.
