my girl is home!! she's doing ok, still very sleepy from anaesthetic & thisty so making sure there is plenty of water for her. She just seemed to settle right down the moment she got home, content. She looks funny where she's been cut open as feathers missing & crop area was cut. Need to take...

Hi again, it's now 3.30pm (7 1/2 hrs after taking her to vet) & just had a call to say she's up & about, bit groggy of course, but he got it out with just doing the endoscope, so only small incision in her crop, thank goodness. He said it had made it's way into her stomach but he's hopeful...

It's 11am wed here, prob wont hear til early arvo as he said he will have to fit her in between others. He didn't really say, just that he hoped he could get it without surgery. I should've listened to my gut instinct last night so its all my own fault.
