    Had 3 Malay chicks hatched this weekend. I saw the parents when I picked up the eggs. Dad was dark and the hens were light but I was still surprised to get 3 very yellow chicks.

    Saws all is the easiest way I found to take pallets apart. I started with a hammer and crowbar but that was ridiculous and I broke a lot of wood.

    TThe first coop I constructed using pallets. It was a fun project. The second was made from fence slats.

    Wow,you have done a great job with your blind chicken. Love the never give up attitude. This is Helen. She was blinded as a chick after being attacked by a grouchy hen. She lives with my smaller gentler sultans and does very well.
