    Wing feather development during 12 wk mini-molt.

    I have 4 Buff Oprington girls currently going through a molt (mini-molt?). They are approximately 16 weeks old and there are feathers everywhere! I have a question about new feather development. On one of my girls the wing feathers look stringy. Is this a normal development stage?
