    Also while im at it, could someone please confirm what my other 3 are? I thought maybe one was a light sussex, one is an isa brown and im unsure of the other. Im not even sure if thats what my other 2 are, just going by what ive googled :)

    We have had 3 so far out of 6 hens, but 3 are new to the flock and only 1 of the new girls were laying when we got her but she has gone off the lay as i think the stress of being at the bottom of the pecking order has affected her? Is that possible?

    Sorry that was a typo! Its meant to say maybe not mayne! So far as long as im aware all my chickens are happy and healthy, just sorting out their pecking order and have been loving the xmas scraps

    Is cooked rice ok ?

    I feed our girls our leftover cooked rice and they go crazy for it! Its always the first thing they go for. I figure its coz it must look like maggots or something lol
