Thank you :) They were all given to me, so I cant complain at all.. plus I am now getting eggs. We are planning a move to the country in a few months, and I will have lots of chickens then. :) Thanks for everyone's help.

Well my ladies are laying now... I do know the Buffs are laying, and the egg in the middle is from the Black/white speckled hen... so is she an EE?? The egg in the middle is a blueish green color.

Thank you. Yeah we did luck in on the pallets, we get them about every two weeks or so and all are usually in this good of condition. There are so many things you can build with them. Ty for complimenting my coop/run and chickens :) We just got them last night.

I just got these last night... 6 Hens and 1 rooster... They were advertised free on a board I go to, so I snatched them up. They are 2 years old (some younger). My guess on the breeds are: Rooster: RIR 3 yellow hens... Buff Orps???????? 1 White Hen... ????? Black Hen... Black Austrolorp...

Thank you :) The only thing new on it was the tin and the wire.. the rest was from pallets and an old Privacy fence someone was throwing away. I love reusing things :)

This was an idea that popped in my head, and my husband helped me construct it. It is NOT perfect, but I like it, and so do the chickens (my neighbors like it too) I also posted a few pictures of them out free ranging in the yard. I love my chickens. :) I am not done painting.. :)...

thanks everyone.. I am just not familiar with duck breeds...and wanted to know what they were. Everyone has been a big help.

thank you... I went and looked up pictures of that breed... that is what they favor. I just didnt have a name in my head for the breed, to check and see...lol. Very pretty ducks though. I plan to get some ducks when I get moved to the country.

They weren't 'small' ducks, but not huge ones either....lol. Kinda hard to describe. Here's another photo of them.... there's several in that album...

I thought they were so pretty... sat and watched them playing in the water for a LONG time. Never seen any that looked like them before.
