They do but only meat birds that are in a chicken tractor in a field on the other side of their house and a few egg hens. I have never heard their chickens. I can't even see their house from my house so they aren't close at all.

All my girls are slowly laying their first eggs. I think 7/13are laying. S excited about all the different colors!

I'll keep that in mind for the winter. I am in Western NY so we have pretty cold winters. Nothing like Alaska but it was a rough one last year.
