Thank all!...for the past couple of days they HV been really quiet..the first day I got 6 eggs between the 4 hens and the rest of the days 2 eggs and 1 egg today..it seemed that they were real chatty the first day and second but now pleasant..I'm hoping they stay that way lol..I love them so...

I guess I'm not used to the new sounds..one neighbor is cool w with hens I have to ask the other neighbor lol..I also read the barred rock crow some..of which I saw them doing that..and also read that they do calm down some as time goes on..maybe some other peeps HV different experiences....?

I have 2 barred rock, 1 Plymouth rock, and a brown one I forgot the name lol..they r just starting to lay eggs now and are more chatty...does this chattiness calm down after they get use to their new women hood? I'm totally new at this kids..help! Lol
