    Coop lumber question

    Being a builder, it seems your plywood door is the problem. Moisture is probably the culprit. Would suggest framing out of white pine or even cedar. This will make it heavier so the hinges may need to be beefed up also. The door will take the most abuse so go the extra mile. Hope this helps.

    Hello out there. 48 yr old farm boy that hasnt had chickens around since my grannie use to raise them when I was a young child. Yea Ive got the bug!!! May get some chicks in a few weeks but right now Im in the design stage of my coop and yes I overthink everything. Great site.
