I have a update. We hung a string of solar lights in the coop and every night when I got to lock them up they are all inside already. They still aren't usung the roost at night and instead sleep huddled in a corner, but at least no more fighting to get them in at night. Thanks for your help.
I have three 7 week old chicks. When we put them in coop they were locked in there for 3 days. Now when I go to close up the coop all three are huddled half in half out of the coop door. Every night we have to shoo them in to close the door. When I peek on them they are then huddled inside...
Out of the whole hatch this is our favorite chick. It comes running to us and is so friendly. It's part frizzle and part mutt. Can anyone see anything that would make them think rooster?
I have 19 chicks right now and just this 1 has these 2 spots. They are almost like callus's. I've never seen blood and haven't noticed anyone picking on it. Any idea what they could be?
