    About 16-17 weeks. No crowing yet, I really was thinking hen, but the neck feathers seem to be getting oranger and more sold like most of the roo pics I've seen.

    Thanks! They do have feathering on legs, I think it's just bad pic. We hatched them ourselves from a reputable breeder so maybe it's just the age they are at now. I did think it looked like a lot of white but it's our first time hatching these or any for that matter. I'll post a parent pic

    New chicks have missing tail feathers infected looking under vent!?

    Thank you so much for the reply, this was just last night so I'm not really sure if they are getting better or not at this point. I was concerned with how much down is missing as well. I will try the Neosporin.

    Not sure if we should bring them back or if there's something I can do at home or is this just a bad start and they won't be healthy?
