Top is male for certain, second bird looks female at this point.

I'm not seeing French Black Copper Marans....French should mean feathering on the outside of the leg down the outside toe. I'm not seeing that in the photos.

Plus you've got some wrong coloring here on shanks and in feathers, though I do realize they are in awkward juvenile phase.

But I'm not seeing FBCM. You can see my FBCM in the byline below. Could be another Marans color, of the American line, possibly some Blue Copper, but they look to have too much white in the feathers at this point and too much white on the legs....but again it is an awkward juvenile phase and black can have white tips until it grows in fully...just looks too much to me.

Thanks! They do have feathering on legs, I think it's just bad pic. We hatched them ourselves from a reputable breeder so maybe it's just the age they are at now. I did think it looked like a lot of white but it's our first time hatching these or any for that matter. I'll post a parent pic
