Hi! Newbie chicken mama here.
I have a lovely French black Copper maran and I’m starting to wonder if she could be a cockerel. Her name is Eleanor and we adore her, so I’m hoping she’s a pullet!

She is 7.5 weeks, and her feet are quite massive. I already discovered one of my other girls is a Roo, and now I’m paranoid 😂

The French Black Copper Marans have very large combs, even at a young age. That is definitely a pullet. If she was a different breed, say Orpington, who have smaller combs, then I'd think cockerel.
