French blue copper maran?

Here’s her updated photo, she’s 2 1/2 weeks old now. She’s looking more white than blue.

The chicks do look similar in some pictures, she has a single comb though. I looked at Hoovers description and it says Brahmas have pea combs.

She’s almost 4 weeks old now, and I think she must be a Splash. It’s odd though, Hoovers website doesn’t show that they have splash marans. I confirmed with the feedstore that the only hatchery they used was Hoovers.

Definitely appears to be a splash.
There's every possibility that two blues accidentally ended up together.

If in the future you're planning on hatching eggs, you can get blue chicks from her.

Hoover does sell blue copper marans. Even if they don't specify blue/black/splash, the way the blue dilution gene works they are going to have all 3 colors out of a blue pen (they could, in theory, use only splash roosters over black hens or black roosters over splash hens, but hatcheries don't ever seem to actually do that I'm assuming for numbers reasons).

You definitely have a splash chick there, bet she'll be really pretty when she's all grown up!
