    Chicken swing!

    I actually came here to ask the same question! Since my boys are virtual learning now, I added shop class to the curriculum. We built a 3 seater for the ladies and no one wants anything to do with it. I have debated if it was the swing height or maybe trying to teach old hens new tricks!

    I use diluted imitation vanilla from the grocery store, spray the walls of the interior of the coop. Smells like cookies and the flies hate it! Win win!

BUT IF she hatches it, do i need to pull the chick inside (with 6 other chicks i have)? or will daylight ranging be sufficient...

    Lol that that's what I've been doing! Lol they eat and go back in so I make a point to throw scratch farther and farther from the coop lol

    Hey everyone! Spring has sprung! BUT I have some "indoor" chickens. Their coop door is open 10 hours a day for them to free range. But they won't come out side for more than 5 minutes at a time! How do I get them more interested in being out!?

    Chickens are coming soon and my intent is to let them free range and close them off at night in the coop. but should i leave them in the coop for a while at first, and what next? just jump straight into free ranging? or should i yard them off first? Thanks!
