    i want cochins really bad.

    I have standard cochins in white, blue, buff and partridge, and silver laced. They free range all the time. They do get dirty sometimes but they do OK. They are so incredibly friendly. They run up to me whenever I come out of the house. They are constantly broody. All in all, they are great!

    Can someone tell me what my babies are?

    I was able to see the parents when I picked up the ducklings. They look just like the ducklings and dad had a curled feather on it's tail. There wasn't anything else distinguishing about them. I guess it really doesn't matter what they are. I was just curious. I love them no matter what.

    Welp?

    I have loved Welp! Our Cochin order was shipped on June 1st and we had them on June 3rd. They were mostly in great shape (we lost 1 and 1 has cross beak, missing eye and short leg) but they had sent 10 extra chicks so we ordered 25 and they sent 35. Good luck!

    Crossed beak

    I just got my Cochin chicks yesterday that I had shipped from the hatchery. I noticed that one had a crossed beak. Is there something that I need to do for it? Will it be able to eat/drink OK by itself? I am completely new to the world of chickens. Thanks!
