    How long do we do this routine? The soaking, rebandaging, etc.? Everyday? For how many days? They're still open wounds, will the soaking and the antibiotic ointment disrupt a scab from forming? At what point do we stop changing the dressings everyday? My husband said they will need dry bandages...

    I forgot to mention that we took off the wrappings 24hrs after surgery, soaked their feet in betadine, sprayed them with Bannizz, applied non-adhesive gauze with triple antibiotic cream, and rewrapped their feet with vetrap.

    I'm new as well, but if you saw her new a compost pile, could she possibly have eaten some fermented/rotting compost/food? I've heard it can make a chicken quite sick, and drunk. I've also heard that liver failure can occur from the fermentation. Like heavy alcoholics. Just a thought...
