Purple bill
She looked very much like that when I got her. I got them at the local feed store. I'm glad to hear she looks healthy. I've been worried about her. I am new to ducks and thank you all. -
Purple bill
I purchased 3 Pekin and 3 Rousen ducklings. 1 of the pekins had a blue bill. As she has grown her bill has turned almost purple and her feathers are sort of tan. She always looks dirty but she not it is her feather coloring. Her feet are ok. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what is going... -

I was surprised to find a fluffy chick eating among my flock this morning. The other hens and rooster seemed ok with it but after a few mimutes another hen pecked it twice and it took off screeching to its mom who promptly sat on it. Laughing duck?
yes the blue behind the wing I did just find one that looks sort of like it... it is a call duck... pastel???? maybe that is it. wish I could hear it I would surely remember the sound. -

it looked very similar to a female mallard... I searched the grey call ...it did not have the blue that is present in pictures of the ones I saw -

it was brown lol I thought the name was Bantam but when I searched them they most certainly didn't look like the duck I saw.... I am almost certain it started with a B though -

we visited the county fair this fall and saw the cutest little duck. It was rather small although it was full grown but instead of a quack it made a laughing sound. Almost like the penguin from the batman series LOL can anyone tell me what kind of it might have been?
