Have had mine a week now. 11 weeks old and have certainly got a bit more confident over the last week. -

Have read through nearly this whole thread and some fantastic ideas. Just wondering what people think of soft herbs. We have a herb garden that is huge but I'm just wondering if there are any i should avoid feeding the ducks? many thanks chris -
Newbie with a couple of questions
So a bit of an update. I picked up my 3 cayugas at the weekend. First afternoon they seemed pretty nervous but that was expected really. They are 10 weeks old now so have nearly all their feathers and seem pretty happy outside. The weather has been quite good. Just a quick question. how... -

The wire i have got is actually avery/pen mesh. It is more durable than normal chicken wire. It will be dug about three foot under the fence. These or the style panels I want to use for the roof. So rather than just using mesh roll over the top i want something that will be easy to remove in...- edgeydt50

So on sunday i am picking up 3 6 week old cayuga's I have constructed a run out of picket fence with wire netting behind it dug into the ground. The coop is enclosed too. For the roof i am looking for something with easy removal so i can get in and out. Will i be able to use trellis panels...- edgeydt50

again thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about the pond as assumed it would get a bit messy. I have got an old bilge pump to empty if needed. I might incorporate a draining system into the pump but will have to see. Will update once the coop is all together. thanks again -
