If you want your water to be "fairly" chlorine free...boil it on the stove for 5 minutes and let it cool. Since all of my chickens drink the same "county water" as I do and I've fermented feed...sprouted scratch grains and even made my own wine with it...I'm not all that picky about the chlorine...
