No updates... I put in a security camera in my carport, pointed to me fence gate and nothing so far!

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

They went through the carport which isn’t enclosed, and I had a push mower stolen about 2 months ago, not sure if it would be the same people or not. I’m more upset about the feathers though, the idea of someone handling my birds while trespassing makes me livid. I’m so glad he hasn’t been hurt...

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

He actually wouldn’t be hard to catch at all because I handle him quite a bit so he’s very easy to pick up, I have a good relationship with my close neighbors but my guess is some punk kids in the area because there are a lot. :/ i’m just very glad he’s actually not hurt or I would probably be...

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

I agree, I think it’s a person, it’s definitely not molting because it’s just the tips of the feathers probably about 3 inches cut off and the lines are way too straight I don’t think it’s possible that another chicken could’ve done that to him and it look like it does. There’s a lot of punk...

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

Unfortunately I don’t actually have any pictures of him before hand, his spurs are only about half an inch long but I think he was a very late developer because he’s probably 9 months old by now.

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

My chickens are completely fenced in... a coop with a completely enclosed run, inside a privacy fence, and the rooster was still in the coop when I discovered him.. so it definitely wasn’t a dog. The feathers are cut off or broken, none are just pulled out.. there is no exposed skin anywhere...

Broken tail feathers..any possible way this occurred naturally?

My rooster was fine, with all his feathers on Sunday night. Monday I came outside and he appears to have his tail feathers cut off ( due to the straight edge) I suspect someone has entered my privacy fence and coop area and cut his feathers off. Thank goodness he’s not been injured also he’s not...

    are we really superior

Why would more intelligent or superior matter? What about mentally handicapped people? Superior how? I can't navigate in total darkness like a bat. I wouldn't know when or how to migrate. I figure if aliens exist and they're smarter, we have it coming for them to use us as a resource and call it...

    hellooo!

First time chicken owner here. I ended up walking out of the feed store with 2 chicks after I went in for birdseed. They will be pets (I'm vegan). I was wondering about their sex. They were labeled black sex links and they have all black heads but a white spot under each of their chins. I read...
