    My Hen just hatched two eggs. We took one chick away since she was ignoring it while waiting for other egg to hatch. She hatched Her last egg tonight. Will She be sad or depressed if I take her chick away to put in my brooder with friends. Is my single chick at risk by being the only chick?

    My broody hen hatched me an amazingly healthy chick! He is in great shape. Unfourtnatly she was ignoring him so I put him with my incubator baby

    I have two eggs under my broody Silky they are due soon. I will be running my incubator until the 25th day

    thank you everyone for your advice. I had one lavender orpington hatch. His membrane got dry so I assisted a little (I waited at least 14 hours before helping him.) He is currently very loudly chirping in the incubator.

    Good progress I hope wow i though my current dude in the brinsea was a miracle chick i just checked my little giant where i put some excess eggs for giggles and i have an amercauna egg rocking and rolling!

    Looks like blood in yolk is absorbed. He seems a little tired. Might help of not hatched by the time I leave work in 9 hours

    I guesstimated the humidity since I don't have a hydrogenater. My little giant runs at around 39% humidity with no water. I ran my brinsea dry until lockdown. I will try a float test tomorrow.

    I can only assume the power outage had something to do with it. Maybe delayed hatching or some type of bacterial issue 50 was also a high estimate. Prob ranged from 39-45

    Automatic turner. About 50% humidity. Eggs from a breeder. 90% eggs developed like they look ready to begin internal piping
