    YO GEORGIANS! :)

PapaChez...Thats funny lol...I agree, chickens are jus like us humans we have our good days an our bad days.... then add hormones, some lady friends, an breed gentics. Then your roo is 10ft tall an bullet proof.....

    YO GEORGIANS! :)

And I guess it helps also if your family are very hands on with your flock an a new roo so they wouldn't see you as something trying to harm them. Then the roo wouldn't have any reason to attack yall unless it's a agresive breed

Quick question BYC members. So summer is upon us. It's been in the 90s this wk with 100% humidity. I've been noticing afew of my chickens walking around with there mouths open. I figure that they are trying to cool off. Is that true or is it another reason they are doing that. Thankx

I jus relied your other question idk how much heat a chicken can take. But you can put ice in there water to help them out. New chickens.

You might want put them in a cage beside the coop were the older cicks can see them for acouple days so they can get use to them, or you can put them in the coop an see how they do sense neither group is very old. If you try just putting them in the coop keep a close eye on them bc chickens do...

    Treats for chicks!

Me, I would wait acouple more wks because there grit intake is so little an you stand the chance of them not being able to process it good enough. If you do give them treats only in moderation I wouldn't let them gouge themselves. Look in the learning center there is a topic on Socializing Your...

    Introducing scraps

They might still be alil to young to process certain things since there grit intake is not alot so they would not be able to break it down an process it. Could be dangerous right now sense they are so young. I would maybe wait afew more wks to try them on different stuff. My ladies are won't...
