Hey guys, I currently have two Australian black swan eggs i received from a breeder, cut a long story short they are over run with black swans now so were kind enough to let me have a few eggs of them, problem is i was told the eggs were due to hatch this week , next few days but on candling...- Adama20

No my temp was 37.5 c and humidity about 40 - 50 % so I don't know what caused the delays , Moglies egg had a very bad damaged air sack after the eggs arrived at mine as they were posted but I kept them blunt end upwards and they were turned in a tray side to side I only put them on there side... -

Hello RubyNala97 , the air sac was a brown colour and stained, usually its bright white and clean, When brown and off colour like this it usually means it is drying out which is a good sign to help a little. Also as I slowly removed the membrane and a little shell out the way I noticed the mucus... -

Sorry to hear that Hannah , I know how frustrating that can be, had the same thing happen years ago to some eggs I was hatching , only difference is the thermostat went and the incubator cooked the chicks : ( came home one day and the incubator was at 45c , not good. Brinsea are usually really... -

Thank you Hannah , I am not sure about the sportsman, I am in the uk, don't think that's a incubator sold here but could be totally wrong, the incubator there in is a rcom king suro and there sitting in a egg box. Might turn them on there sides for the rest of the incubation this weekend once...
