Does anyone in the north texas area have a pullet bantam they would be willing to trade for a rooster bantam? I ended up with 3 roosters and 3 hens and they are already fighting.

Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

I cant remember the name of it, but my favorite is jazz something or other. They have several more exotic blends but I like buying the ones that are roasted and blended in my area. That particular one is from the dfw area.

Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Has anyone been to cent market or HEB grocery? They have some excellent coffee in their bulk beans. It's a bit on the pricey side but good for a treat.

    stumped on all counts

They are all bantams. The buff was the same size to start out as the rest it just seemed to get huge compared to the others. For comparison the box they are in front of is about 6 inched off the ground.

I hope these were a little better . I'm pretty sure the first one is a rooster especially after the strange almost crow he made this morning.

I don't have any really good photos of them but will try to get more. All the storms lately has them scared. I bought them at the feed store and now I'm not really sure what they are.

    Hi from north texas

Thanks everyone! All of the chickens of my "past life" ( parents farm) were regular sized sexlinks americanas and a few other breeds, much larger than what I have now; my smallest fits into the palm of my hand! Im so looking forward to raising my babies.

    get grass to grow back

I purchased a small portable coop and have recently moved it. My biggest problem is trying to get grass to grow back in the spot the coop was originally in . I have made sure to rake up as much as I could of the wood shavings, but little grass has started to grow back yet. Any suggestions...
