    when you say young, how young? Mine are all (6) about 6 months old and I built a wood coop with wood panels to cover most of their screened vents. I have run they can walk down into and they love it. Problem is...how do you get them in for the night so they dont freeze? Its in the low 30's...

    I completely understand your delemma. I have chickens I have raised from chicks and are about 5 months old now and I think they sre roosters also. They do not crow (yet) but make a odd sound and only the three do that (ones I think are roosters ) I have picks. Can someone please help us?
