Pretty sure it's not mareks as he's 100% in every other way.....just that growth. But no they're not vaccinated (it's not been an issue really). It's not got any heat or pus as such, just looks horrid! It always happens when my partners away (he's a lot better with poultry than I am!) ...
So far the only thing that's helped with mine has been to use the lice powder......we had a few issues with them (just on our 3 hybrids) and tried other things, all natural alternatives, but in the end a good dust with that sorted it.
Hi, hope you can help....offer advice (I'm imagining the worst for my boy).

I guess the important bits.....I'm in Norfolk, UK.....quite nice here!
My flock consists of..... 1 x Gold laced orpington cock - Ron, 1 lemon brahma hen - Luna, 1 pekin bantam - Harry, 1 buff marsh daisy - Hermione........(can you tell I like harry potter!!). These are 15 weeks old...
In need of advice and a bit of moral support!
Last night all was well in chookland....when I went out this morning I found one of my 5 week old Vorwerk hens dead. Initially I thought shed been attacked, but on close inspection she was in great condition - just dead.
About an hour later I...
