Hi Jujubara I have had another look into this in case anyone else asks about postage outside the EU the cheapest postage to the USA I can find is £8.06 if you were buying 30 egg boxes this is with Royal Mail, is non tracked and would be by ship and take up to 42 days. With the price of the egg...
Hi Jujubara I have had a look at shipping the boxes abroad out of the EU but I think the postage is going to be too expensive you would be looking at approximately 80p per egg box. This is a price including the postage. If you were still interested I could have a look further into it and see...
Hello to those on this thread. I know it has been a while since anyone posted on it but I wanted to let those interested know that I have recently set up a website selling Bantam size egg boxes in the UK. I designed them myself and had them manufactured as I got fed up of my little eggs looking...
34-37g I would say is a good average size egg for a bantam. When making my boxes I used a weeks worth of my Pekin eggs to find the smallest and biggest and they ranged from 31-41g even though the chickens all look similar in size body wise. 42g is the cut off weight for a Bantam egg in show terms.
I sure do! The right hand box is a standard size chicken box. I have put two bantam eggs in it so you can get an idea of the difference in cell size. What do you think?? Cute or what!!!
Hi fellow Pekin lovers have you heard that I have designed an egg box specifically for Bantam eggs?! I got really fed up of all the effort my chickens went to making their little eggs for them not to be justified rattling about in a big box. I felt they deserved to take pride of place in their...
I keep my Pekins on mostly gravel the fairly big round kind of stuff as I find this helps no end to keep their feet cleaner and drier as the rain drains through the gravel. Also when you rake over it the droppings fall between the stones and break down quicker. They can scratch down to the soil...
Yes them pesky roo's such a shame we only need one to do the job when they look so lovely but sound so loud!! Always look for homes if possible don't like to kill them unnecessarily but already have 2 and a small flock of hens so more is not an option to keep.
Yes I will be posing out orders. I am looking at selling them in batches of 30, 50, 100, 200 and 300 or more if requested so buying 30 boxes would be the minimum order. I have set up a holding page on my website address while I am developing it where people can subscribe for a notification email...
