These are Ancona duck eggs that they clearly don't care how clean they are when they lay them. Despite the straw box that is provided with eggs to cue them. I assume ducks in nature still sit on filthy eggs, they are ready to go into the incubator. Should I wash them? If som soap and water?
Not sure. I blame myself. I am not rich enough to want to spend $150 on a vet for a $5 rooster. Sounds harsh but it's economics. None of the other birds are ill but ban keeping a watchful eye.
