    I would agree with that When my brahma hen met our roo she gave him a nice pecker in the eye to show him who's boss We made sure she didn't hit the pupil and applied a damp cloth to his eye when he let us, the inflammation went down in a week.

    This is Goldie she is a Golden Lace Brahma hen. She is 16 months old September, this picture was taken when we first got her (at 11 months old) She lays eggs about 6 days a week. Those organic eggs are delicious! She's a great backyard chicken
