Thank you for the quick response. Here is another picture where the tail feathers are a little easier to see. I think there are thin pointed feathers near the base. Another thing to note is that the last few mornings she/he has been pretty noisy, but it doesn't sound like a...- vish138

18 week old RIR - Pullet or Rooster?
We aren't allowed to have roosters in our city, I'm afraid we got one, would like to confirm with the experts on here. He/she is an 18 week old Rhode Island Red. If it is a rooster, anyone in Orange County, CA want him? Thank you- vish138
